FAPRI-MU in Bulgaria

After an exchange visit by Bozidar Ivanov of the Institute of Agricultural Economics in Sofia, Bulgaria to the University of Missouri funded by the USDA’s Borlaug Fellowship, a partnership was created to build “FAPRI-style” models for Bulgaria. Through generous funding from the America for Bulgaria Foundation this project was able to construct models for cereals and oilseeds, livestock, meat and dairy. After several academic exchanges where staff spent time in their partner institutions, an outlook was developed and released in a conference in October 2014.
