About Sera
Sera Chiuchiarelli joined the FAPRI-MU team in May 2014, where she works on international agricultural models. Her primary focus is on international livestock markets, but she is also involved in international dairy analysis. She also has helped with the FAPRI summer course and assists Dr. Wyatt Thompson with his graduate agricultural prices class.
Previously, Sera worked as a commodity market analyst with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, specializing in Canadian special crops, biofuels, value-added and sweetener markets. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with a concentration in mathematics and a master’s in economics, both from the University of Ottawa. She is also currently pursuing her PhD part-time at MU in Agricultural and Applied Economics and completed her comprehensive examinations in December of 2021.
